BACKGROUND STORY:
Since after the battle with Cluny the Scrooge was over and peace spreads everywhere, a mouse-maid called Esmeralda, she is on her way to Redwall to start a new life cause her husband was killed by Cluny the Scrooge & she is pregnant with her first child. She came from a secret peaceful place called Noonvale but it can never be revealed or untouched by evil.
Matthias & Cornflower welcomed Esmeralda in Redwall Abbey after she arrived, she was abit tried & exhausted from her journey. Esmeralda explained everything about her having a baby she asked Matthias if she would like to stay to start a new life & he accepts her request. Cornflower told Esmeralda that she's pregnant too & quickly became friends with each other.
Two days have passed since after the Fairy left Baby Lily into Matthias & Cornflower's care, Esmeralda felt a little contraction in her womb for a while thinking it is gone but another contraction came again, it is telling her the baby is coming & she was taken to the infirmary by Constance & Mrs Churchmouse to help give birth to her first child. After an hour passed, Esmeralda has given birth to a baby girl mouse, Constance & Mrs Churchmouse gave the baby a good clean up & wrapping her up in a warm pink blanket before handing her back to her mother. Esmeralda was so full of tears of joy when she looked at her daughter who has opened her eyes looking at her mother & makes happy sounds to her.
Esmeralda looked into her newborn daughter's beautiful blue eyes as they sparkle so she named her daughter Crystal after her husband's younger sister.
A couple of seasons have passed since Esmeralda left Redwall to travelling around the world to do some dancing, Crystal is now 10 years but she still stays at Redwall to spend time with her friends Lily, Ronan, Lavender Percy, Vitch, Mattimeo, Tess & the other kids.
Crystal likes dancing except she can sometimes fall down when she does that, but it takes alot of practice but she wishes that someday she'll be a great warrior when she grows up.

Crystal really misses her mother alot when she's away to travel the world but she has alot friends to keep her company when her mother comes back to Redwall someday.
